While rumors abound regarding remakes of Resident Evil Zero and Code Veronica, Capcom has announced updated sales numbers for Resident Evil Village. It’s sold over ten million copies since its launch, becoming the fastest title in the franchise to achieve the same.
The sequel to Resident Evil 7: biohazard has been available since May 2021 for PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One before coming to Nintendo Switch in 2022 and PlayStation VR2 in February 2023. It was also recently released for iOS and iPadOS in October 2023. Despite its age, Capcom revealed that approximately two million copies are sold yearly.
