Capcom’s Resident Evil Village will have a presence at Tokyo Game Show 2020 but that didn’t stop the company from revealing a new trailer at the PS5 showcase. It’s fairly similar to the previous – Chris Redfield has seemingly betrayed Ethan, and there’s a scary village to explore. Check it out below.

Throughout the various snatches of gameplay, we see the residents of these village having their own rituals and traditions. Werewolves – or werewolf-looking hybrids – also appear to make life difficult for Ethan. Of course, there’s also the memories of Mia who insists that the haunting story she tell  is “just a local tale.”

If this all sounds disjointed, then that’s what Resident Evil Village’s story looks like in a nutshell. It’s an intriguing mystery and we can’t wait to find out more when it releases in 2021. The title is coming to PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC. Stay tuned for more details in the coming days.
