Zombies are synonymous with Resident Evil, even though they’re not always guaranteed to be featured in RE games. Resident Evil 7, for instance, had no zombies at all. They will, however, be coming back in Resident Evil Village. In the recent gameplay footage shown off by Capcom, we can see Ethan fighting against zombies in the castle’s dungeon. What’s even more interesting is that these zombies can wield weapons like swords, which should make encounters against them much more interesting.
