Obviously, inventory management is a crucial part of any Resident Evil game (or any survivor horror game, for that matter), and Resident Evil Village isn’t going to change that. What it is changing is what form inventory management will take. While RE7 and the remakes of 2 and 3 had classic Resident Evil inventories, Resident Evil Village is bringing back the briefcase from Resident Evil 4, which will involve a Tetris-style minigame in which you align and fit your weapons and items within a limited grid based space.
