Respawn “Definitely Thinking About” Titanfall Beta

And that's it, more or less. Just thinking about it.

Many of us expected Respawn Entertainment to announce over the weekend – i.e. at the Spike VGX Awards – that Titanfall would be getting a beta. That hasn’t happened of course, and it’s even more worrying since the game is roughly 3 months away from release. Nonetheless, Respawn co-founder Vince Zampella stated that the studio is looking into getting a beta out before the game’s launch.

The statement he issued while speaking to GameSpot when asked about the Titanfall beta? “We’re definitely thinking about it”. More details at this point are wanting, for sure.

Nonetheless, we learned more about some of the new Titans in the game, with new trailers showcasing the Ogre and Stryder classes, the former functioning as a hulking yet slower Titan and the latter emphasizing speed and agility. Titanfall is currently releasing for PC, Xbox One and Xbox 360 on March 11th 2014 in North America and March 13th 2014 in Europe.
