RGG Summit 2024

As with previous years, Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio has confirmed its next RGG Summit for September 20th. It will livestream from 7 PM JST on YouTube and provide updates on the Like a Dragon franchise.

Fans can likely look forward to new details on the studio’s next title, which is confirmed to be revealed at this year’s Tokyo Game Show. Very little is known, though RGG Studio claimed the next Like a Dragon title would “surprise” people. It will also feature a group known as the Minato Girls, who would have live-action and CG scenes akin to the hostesses in previous titles, though their involvement in the story is unknown.

Of course, it’s also possible that the Judgment series could receive some new details and announcements. Is it too much to hope Like a Dragon: Kiwami 3 is announced? Possibly, but since series director Masayoshi Yokoyama said it would happen “sooner or later,” an announcement wouldn’t be too out of left field. As always, stay tuned for more updates.
