RGG Summit Fall 2023

There never seems to be any shortage of new Like a Dragon games (or Yakuza games, if you still can’t get the series’ old name out of your mind) on the horizon, which, in turn means that developer RGG Studio always seems to have new details to share on its upcoming releases. We just recently got fresh new looks at Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name and Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth at RGG Summit Summer 2023, but the developer has more of that planned for later in the year.

Closing off its recent live event, Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio announced that it will be returning with another RGG Summer in Fall to offer new updates and details on upcoming Like a Dragon titles. The specific date for the event hasn’t been set yet, though that information will likely be coming in the coming weeks and months.

With Tokyo Game Show set for late September, it’s likely that the event will be set around that period. Whether or not it will also feature announcements for any new games remains to be seen- perhaps we could see Judgment 3? One can hope, at least.

Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name launches on November 9 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth is due out in early 2024 for the same platforms.
