Team Ninja’s Rise of the Ronin launches on March 22nd, 2024, with pre-orders going live on December 14th at 7 AM PDT. Some new details are available via the PlayStation Blog, including pre-order bonuses. Those who pre-order any edition can unlock four Combat Styles – Hayabusa-ryu for Katana and Naginata, Nioh-ryu for Katana and Aisu Kage-ryu for Katana – and the Iga Ninja’s Katana and Armor set early.

The Standard Edition costs $69.99, while the Digital Deluxe Edition retails at $79.99. The latter includes the base game and pre-order bonuses, Iga Ninja’s Staff, Toyokuni Paired Swords, the Bando Warrior Armor set, and the Japanese Formal Wear set. You also get the digital soundtrack and a digital art book.

Rise of the Ronin launches exclusively for PS5 and is Team Ninja’s biggest game. It’s set in 19th-century Japan during the Bakumatsu, with the player intertwined with two historical figures – Ryoma Sakamoto and Shoin Yoshida. Based on your choices, you may either align or fight against the various factions in the story.
