Rockstar has announced GTA+, a new monthly subscription membership for Grand Theft Auto Online players, which will bring monthly in-game rewards to subscribers. Launching on March 29, players will be able to sign up for GTA+ for $5.99 per month.

Every month, subscribers will receive a deposit of GTA$500,000, in addition to member-only discounts, GTA$ and RP bonuses, special vehicle upgrades, properties to claim in and around Los Santos, and more. The first month of the membership (from March 29 to April 27) will bring auto shop upgrades, lower fees for LS Car Meet memberships, RP and GTA$ rewards in races, and much more.

Rockstar has also confirmed that GTA+ is only going to be available for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S players. There’s no word on when (or if) we can expect the subscription to arrive for PC and previous-gen consoles.

Given the enduring success of GTA 5which currently stands at over 160 million units sold worldwide and how big of a hand GTA Online has had in that, it’s not surprising to see Rockstar looking to capitalize on that- especially with Grand Theft Auto 6 still at least a few years away.
