A new image grabbed from the official Xbox site – which has since been removed – has indicated that Crytek’s Ryse: Son of Rome might be receiving a live-action web series. You check out the image below for an idea of what both companies are going for in terms of the look. The web series it rated Mature for blood and gore, intense violence, partial nudity, sexual content and strong language. Talk about ticking off everything on the list.

This would fit in with Microsoft’s current approach which is to ensure that nearly every one of its exclusive franchises has an associated TV show. Some of the more prominent examples revealed thus far include Quantum Break, Halo The Television Series, and now Ryse: Son of Rome.

Of course, the game will be launching on Xbox One on November 22nd. Will the web series follow shortly after? We’ll have to wait and find out.
