Among the many upcoming titles for Xbox Series X/S, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Shadow of Chernobyl is one of the more promising. It made an impact at E3 2021 with its realistic visuals and grim atmosphere which stays true to the series. However, interested players will need to clear up quite a bit of storage space on Xbox Series X/S to install it.

According to the Microsoft Store, the survival horror FPS is 180 GB in size. This is somewhat surprising considering back in June, it was listed as being 150 GB in size for both Xbox Series X/S and PC. As time goes on and development progresses, it’s possible that the size increased (especially given that the game will run in Ultra HD 4K and +60 FPS on consoles).

It’s worth noting that the PC requirements and install size haven’t been updated on Steam so we’ll have to wait and see if it also changes. S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Shadow of Chernobyl releases on April 28th 2022 for Xbox Series X/S and PC, and launches day one on Xbox Game Pass.
