Sackboy - A Big Adventure_02

Sumo Digital’s Sackboy: A Big Adventure is a pretty great platformer in its own right but it also serves as a nice tool for cross-promoting other PlayStation franchises. After adding a costume for Selene from Returnal, it’s now the turn of Ratchet, Clank and Rivet from the upcoming Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart. The costumes and emotes will be added to the game on June 11th.

An image for all three, which recreates Rift Apart’s box art, was revealed by the official PlayStation Twitter and looks quite snazzy. Costumes in Sackboy: A Big Adventure don’t serve any purpose outside of looking cool but it’s still a nice little addition for those just hopping in. The title is currently available for PS4 and PS5 – read our review here.

As for Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart, it releases exclusively on the PS5 this Friday. Check out our review here to learn more about it. The day one patch will include 60 FPS and 60 FPS with ray tracing modes for players to choose from.
