Square Enix’s upcoming remaster for SaGa Frontier is out next week, bringing the classic JRPG to PS4, Nintendo Switch, PC, iOS and Android with improved visuals. Though its characters and features have been briefly detailed before, a more in-depth trailer has been released with additional gameplay. Check it out below.

SaGa Frontier Remastered features eight characters with the Free Scenario allowing players to go anywhere without any restrictions. Each character has their own main quest to fulfill and their fates can intertwine at certain points. Though the original only had seven, the remaster adds Fuse as a new protagonist.

Additional scenarios and cutscenes, like new story events for Asellus, are also included in the remastered along with quality of life features like 2x speed. Even the user interface has been touched up to be easier to use. SaGa Frontier Remastered is out on April 15th. Stay tuned for more details in the meantime.
