Developer Volition has announced that its upcoming reboot of Saints Row has officially gone gold. This keeps the game on track for its August 23 release date.

Going gold means that primary development on a game has been completed, and that a gold master has been sent to platform holders—in this case that would be Sony, Microsoft, and Epic—for certification.

If you’re planning on picking up the PC version of Saints Row on the Epic Games Store, you can check out the minimum hardware requirements for the game here. The requirements are conservative, supporting 8GB of RAM, graphics cards with 4GB of RAM, and Intel Core i3 3240/Ryzen 3 1200 CPUs.

For those among us who are impatient, Saints Row‘s Boss Factory character creator was launched back in June on all platforms. The Boss Factory allows players to check out the in-depth character creator, which the developers believe to be one of the best character creators in any game in the market.

Saints Row is coming to PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
