Saints Row 4
Remember how the Saints Row: The Third DLC, Enter the Dominatrix, was taken away and elements used to create what would eventually become Saints Row IV? Apparently there’s been some uproar about the same, since it probably means we won’t see much by way of a new engine and such.

As Volition’s Steve Jaros stated at PAX East to Machinima, “We consciously made the choice when developing Saints Row 4 that we wanted to focus on gameplay features, the structure for that game that will make it unique and special; that’s where we put all of our energy.

“We didn’t want to make a new engine, we wanted to make a worthy sequel to Saints Row 3 and we think we did that in spades.”

He also stated that Saints Row IV will be “nothing like Saints Row 3″ and that the super powers put a completely new spin on the game. “Once you hold that controller in your hands it feels totally different.”
