Volition and Deep Silver have finally released the PAX East demo gameplay walkthrough for Saints Row IV, showing off all the insanity players can pull off in the over-the-top open world action game.

The video walkthrough showcases some of the weapons, including the Dubstep Gun which causes enemies to stop what they’re doing and start dancing (yes, that includes mechs as well). There’s also powers for flattening enemies, blowing them, running them over and even leaping over buildings.

Let’s not forget the other smorgasbord of super-powers revealed like telekinesis, which can be used to hurl objects at enemies.

Saints Row IV will release on August 20th for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. It will focus on the Saints taking up roles in the White House before fending off an alien invasion using newfound superpowers and zany weapons like mechs. So in other words, just being awesome all around. Stay tuned for more details.
