Samurai Shodown - Hibiki

Hibiki Takane from The Last Blade 2 was already confirmed to be joining the roster of SNK’s Samurai Shodown. However, she now has a release date of April 28th. A new trailer has been revealed, showcasing Hibiki in action. Check it out below.

As part of the Season 3 pass, Hibiki specializes in Musō Shinden-ryū, a style of Iaido which is all about quickly drawing the sword in response to sudden attacks. Following a strike, the user cleans the blade of any blood and sheathes it in one fluid motion. Hibiki is capable of such quickdraw attacks along with dashing slashes and counter-attacks that require timing.

Samurai Shodown is currently available for Xbox One, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, PC and Stadia. Hibiki is the second character in the Season 3 pass with Cham Cham having already been released. Two more characters remain with a Guilty Gear character being hyped as the fourth. Stay tuned for more details in the coming months.
