Samurai Shodown

SNK had its fair share of announcements during the Japan Fighting Game Publishers Roundtable #2. Along with confirming that Samurai Shodown would receive DLC character Cham Cham on March 16th, it also teased the fourth character for Season Pass 3. It will be filled by a Guilty Gear character with the launch date to be revealed later.

Obviously, there are many assumptions as to who could be added. Baiken seems like a safe bet, especially since she’s literally a wandering samurai. Kliff Undersn, last seen in Guilty Gear XX, would be a nice surprise as well. We have seen knight characters like the Warden from For Honor in so it wouldn’t be the weirdest thing.

Samurai Shodown is currently available for PC, Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch and Google Stadia with the Xbox Series X/S version out on March 16th. After Cham Cham, Hibiki Takane from The Last Blade will be the next DLC character. So who’s the third character in Season Pass 3? Stay tuned for more details in the meantime.
