Samurai Warriors 5 Frame Rate Comparison – PS5 vs Xbox Series X

Our latest video outlines a graphical comparison between Samurai Warriors 5's PS4 and Xbox One versions running on PS5 and Xbox Series X respectively.

Koei Tecmo’s latest Samurai Warriors 5 is out now, and seems to be a fun game albeit with a few flaws. Samurai Warriors 5 is only available on PS4 and Xbox One, so its worth noting that our tests cover these versions running on next-gen hardware in backwards compatibility mode. Check out our video below for more details on the matter.

The game runs flawlessly at a steady 60 fps on both consoles. This is great especially since there can be a staggering number of enemies at a time, but the game holds its own in the direst of situations.

While developer Koei Tecmo hasn’t revealed any plans for dedicated next-gen versions of the game, it shouldn’t have much trouble reaching framerates of up to 120 fps. That’s of course – if they decide to do it. What’s there is great on either platform. Read our review of Samurai Warriors 5 through here.
