Just Cause 2 was one of the most unique sandboxes of last gen, simply because of how little restrictions it imposed on you to begin with- the amazing modding community on PC continued to ensure that the game would have a life well past its original shelf date.
So naturally, a sequel to a game this popular is expected and eagerly anticipated. And now, the good news? The good news is that it may well be under development, if this batch of new screenshots is to be believed. The bad news? The bad news is that the game may come with microtransactions and F2P features.
This appears to be accurate, as Eurogamer has spoken with an anonymous source working on the game, and he seems to have confirmed that the game will indeed have these elements. However, from our understanding of said source, these elements are optional, and serve to enhance and supplement the core game design.
