Sea of Thieves - Forsaken Shores

Want to make your pirate look even prettier (or scarier) than ever? Rare announced at a recent New York Comic-Con panel that the next Bilgerat Adventure for Sea of Thieves, titled “Festival of the Damned“, would allow players to apply makeup to their characters.

The event itself will involve the Ferry of the Damned, a respawning area for players when they die, and the Well of Spirits. This well can be used to add different colours for players when they suffer an untimely demise. As for makeup, it wasn’t given too many details, but is a welcome addition all the same.

Rare is also looking to expand on the universe’s lore with the upcoming Sea of Thieves: Athena’s Fortune novel. This will focus on Ramsey, and releases on October 23rd. Sea of Thieves players have already received some sizeable new content with the recent Forsaken Shores update that added a limited time campaign and new volcanic region to the game.
