Shadow of the Tomb Raider Won’t Be At E3 2017 – Report

Community manager Meagan Marie apparently says as much.

Lara Croft’s next big game, rumoured to be Shadow of the Tomb Raider, won’t be revealed at E3 this year according to Facebook fan page Turning Point.

The page allegedly spoke to senior community manager Meagan Marie who said that, “This will be a quiet E3 for Lara, but we’re looking forward to catching up on her new adventure later this year.”

This possibly teases a reveal at Gamescom 2017 sometime in August but it at least means that a new Tomb Raider is coming. Then again, the fan page itself says there’s no confirmation link so take this with a grain of salt.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider is rumoured to be in development by Eidos Montreal (of Deus Ex: Human Revolution and Mankind Divided fame) while Crystal Dynamics works on a new Avengers game for Square Enix. What are your thoughts on the next Tomb Raider? Let us know in the comments below.
