Shovel Knight Pocket Dungeon

Along with the announcement of Mina the Hollower, Yacht Club Games provided details on current projects in the latest “Yacht Club Games Presents” showcase. It revealed that Shovel Knight: Pocket Dungeon, which released in December 2021, would be receiving a free update. Along with bug fixes and quality of life (like tips in multiplayer after a match ends), it would also add new accessibility options.

A new character, Random Knight, is also being added. Appearing for those who already have a few knights unlocked, he’ll essentially transform into a random character when starting a new run. As for the three previously announced DLC packs, the developer confirmed they would include features like Online V.S. Mode and mod support for PC.

On top of this, they’ll add new characters, enemies and bosses along with additional secrets, relics and items. A release date for the first update and DLC has yet to be provided so stay tuned for more details in the coming months. Shovel Knight: Pocket Dungeon is available for PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC.
