SimCity’s Will Wright Discusses Game with Creative Director in New Video

Check out what Wright likes and how Wright plays the game.

Will Wright recently sat down with SimCity creative director Ocean Quigley to talk about the game. In other words, it means Wright discussing his experiences with the game and just what he makes of it overall.

SimCity, releasing on March 8th for PC and Mac, is a reboot of the classic city-managing simulation that put Maxis and Will Wright on the map. Players will essentially be able to build their own city from scratch and take it all the way up the developmental cycle.

Of course, there are several new social and gameplay features in this edition. Players will be able to manage multiple cities at once, and also collaborate with other gamers in said management. This allows different players to specialize in different resources and occupations when working together.

And if that’s not enough for you, then random disasters occur to spice up the proceedings. Because nothing says “simulation” like a random alien invasion.
