Skull and Bones wouldn’t be a pirate game without treasure maps and having to discern clues to dig up some buried treasure chests. Treasure maps are earned by completing Contracts, World Events, and destroying/boarding enemy ships, but some are part of the story. You can open them in your inventory and follow the clues to find their locations.

How to Get Legendary Maps
Legendary Maps are found in the Cutthroat Cargo PvP events. They become available early on, but tackle them in the endgame. Head to the location in question to get the map and follow its instructions (randomized each time) to find the treasure. Other players can attack and attempt to take the map, so be warned. You’re safe on disembarking at the treasure’s location.
