A Finnish blogger has recently discovered that the world of Skyrim is even bigger than you might’ve thought. In fact it contains much of the world of Tamriel, including landmasses replicating the locations in Morrowind and Oblivion (the photo above is a birds eye comparison between the Imperial City of Oblivion with the landmass from Skyrim beneath). On the bloggers site ‘Jesse’ gives a pretty detailed tour of the locations mentioned, though has not checked any other provinces due to the time involved.
