In Sons of the Forest, the Zipline Rope Gun plays a vital role as it’s a requirement for acquiring the Shovel, which is an essential tool needed for your survival and success on the island. However getting it is a rather difficult task. But if you believe you have the courage to acquire it, here’s everything you should know about finding the Rope Gun in Sons of the Forest.

How to Procure the Zipline Rope Gun

  • The Zipline Rope Gun is located in a cave on the western side of the Island, towards the southeast of green point marked on the game’s map.
  • Once you reach the cave, enter it. But be warned. There are difficult enemies inside and they won’t make your traversal any easier. Be well prepared before you enter!
  • With that out of the way, search for a fallen worker. Now once you find him, keep walking while being adjacent to the nearest wall. This will take you deeper into the cave. You will then come across a creature. Fortunately, there are bombs besides a dead worker. Pick up them and throw them at the creature. With creature dead, keep moving ahead.
  • You will eventually come across a dead worker who will have a log titled “More Lighting”. Collect the letter and keep on moving further until you reach a ramp and then to an area with stalagmites.
  • Finally you will reach the end of the area where you will find a black crate with the Rope Gun inside it.
