While Sony has announced price hikes for some of its PlayStation hardware and online services, the company has officially announced some major discounts, celebrating its annaul Days of Play promotion. Announced on the PlayStation Blog, Days of Play 2025 is slated to kick off on May 28, and will go on until June 11.
As part of the promotion, the company is offering a $120 discount on the base models of the PS5 and PS5 Digital Edition, and a discount of $50 on the PS5 Pro and the PlayStationVR2 headset. Along with the consoles and VR headsets, DualSense controllers are also will also be getting a discounted of $20.
The promotion also includes discounts on PlayStation Plus subscriptions, bringing their price down by up to 33 percent for 12-month memberships. Those already subscribed to the service through the Essential or Extra tiers can also get a 33 percent discount on the difference if they choose to upgrade their subscription to the Premium or Deluxe tiers.

- In select regions such as Europe and Asia, PlayStation 5 console (Digital and Standard) will be on promotion, starting at €399.99 / £339.99 / ¥65,980.
