Sony Replaces Deutsch L.A. With BBH as Playstation Creative Agency

After 6 years handing the Playstation brand, it's time for a change.

Major rumblings are afoot at Sony. First the February 20th event that could lead to the announcement of a new Playstation and now this. Sony has recently revealed that it has replaced it’s creative agency of the past six years Deutsch L.A. with Bartle, Bogle, Hegarty (BBH) New York taking over the Playstation account.

SCEA VP of Playstation brand marketing Guy Longworth stated that, “Deutsch has been an incredible partner for PlayStation over the last six years, and has delivered stand-out creative and strategy for the PlayStation brand in the US. We would like to thank them for their dedicated service to our business.”

Meanwhile, CCO of BBH New York John Patroulis was enthusiastic about the deal. “PlayStation is one of the most exciting and coveted brands in the world, so we’re thrilled and humbled to partner with SCEA. They have a smart and ambitious team and we can’t wait to get started.”
