Insomniac’s Spider-Man has been one of the most successful titles of last year and recently wrapped up “The City That Never Sleeps” DLC. However, it seems there’s something else coming to the PS4 title “real soon”. Something “Fantastic”, according to Marvel’s Ryan Penagos.
During a stream centered on The Fantastic Four, Marvel discussed a number of details regarding the famous family. However, as reported by Game Informer, Penagos teased something for Insomniac’s open world title. “Something ‘Fantastic’ is coming to Marvel’s Spider-Man real soon.” A time frame for this “Fantastic” thing wasn’t provided.
The emphasis on “Fantastic” seems to indicate content related to The Fantastic Four (if that wasn’t obvious enough). Spider-Man has had his fair share of crossovers with the family in the past. In fact, the web crawler would join the group to form the Future Foundation at some point in the comics. Perhaps we’ll see Future Foundation Spider-Man’s outfit appearing in-game at some point?
