Spike VGA 2012’s First Two Premiers Announced

And surprise, Naughty Dog and Epic Games are it.

Posted By | On 27th, Nov. 2012

In the latest issue of Game Informer, it was announced that the first two premiers for the Spike Video Game Awards 2012 have been decided – and it will be Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us and Epic Games’ Gears of War: Judgment. While the former is an action-survival title set in a post apocalyptic environment, the latter is a side-story to the original Gears of War saga, focusing on Damon Baird and his crew.

Game Informer also showcased a couple of interesting details, with a picture from The Last of Us featuring the caption, “It looks as though Joel and Ellie are joined by this mysterious woman in The Last of Us. Who is she? Can she be trusted? Stay tuned.”

Gears of War: Judgment, on the other hand, promises some never before seen environments and a “new look”. Check out the pics below to get a better idea.

Spike VGA 2012 will mark the 10th year of the awards function and will be held on Saturday, December 8th.
