Now that Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is out, Nintendo is ready to start marketing its next big release of the year in earnest. That next big release is Splatoon 3, and over several weeks, we’ve already received quite a few bits and pieces of info on it, from its maps and weapons to multiplayer customization and more. Soon, however, we’ll be getting a much more substantial look at the game.
Nintendo has announced a Splatoon 3 Direct presentation scheduled for Wednesday, August 10 at 6 AM Pacific Time. It will be roughly 30 minutes long, so you can expect quite a few new details to be shared and plenty of new gameplay footage to be shown off. We’ve already seen a decent amount of the game’s PvP multiplayer mode Turf War and its PvE Salmon Run mode, so hopefully Nintendo will be telling us more about its single player campaign this time.
Splatoon 3 launches for the Nintendo Switch on September 9.
Tune in on August 10 at 6 a.m. PT for a livestreamed #Splatoon3 Direct presentation. Join us in the Splatlands for roughly 30 minutes of updates! pic.twitter.com/iFfaU3V6vM
