After the first Big Run event, Splatoon 3 is gearing up for its third Splatfest. Voting starts on December 30th with the theme “What is your favorite flavor?” Players can choose between Team Spicy, Team Sweet or Team Sour, with the Splatfest taking place from January 7th to 9th.

After voting, you’ll earn conch shells at a fast rate, which is a good thing since they’ll help determine the Splatfest’s winner. You can also use them in the lobby’s Shell-Out Machine for items like titles and locker decorations. Regardless of choice, be prepared to wage war over your favorite taste.

Splatoon 3 is available for Nintendo Switch and recently received a big update with Chill Season 2022, adding new weapons, maps and modes. More content will be added in the coming months, and paid expansion akin to Splatoon 2: Octo Expansion is also in development, so stay tuned. In the meantime, check out our review for the base game here.
