Square Enix has future plans for Deus Ex- Eidos Montreal

After the success of Deus Ex: Human Revoution, you might think that the developers are enjoying their first ever title and its overwhelming reception- well, they are. But that doesn’t mean that the franchise has no future after this. Eidos Montreal says that Square Enix has future plans for the Deus Ex franchise.

“I would like to, but I don’t know what the future is right now,” Eidos Montreal’s Andre Dufort told Eurogamer when asked if the devs would be working on a Deus Ex 4.

“I know that Wada-san said he had a plan for the future, but right now we’re celebrating the success of the game, since it’s the first game of the studio.

“I don’t know if you’ve seen the credits of the main game, but there were a lot of production babies, so I think people want to spend some time with their families and take some time off. That’s pretty much where we are right now.”
