Respawn Entertainment’s Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is a year old at this point, having launched on November 15th to strong critical acclaim. It’s done extremely well for itself in that period, garnering more than 10 million players as of May 2020. Sales-wise, it’s also performing well, being the second best-selling title in the US over the past 12 months.
This is according to The NPD Group analyst Mat Piscatella on Twitter, who noted that it’s only behind Call of Duty: Modern Warfare in sales. Expect player counts to grow even further in the coming months with its Stadia version out on November 24th. The action adventure title also recently joined Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and EA Play in time for the launch of Xbox Series X/S.
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is currently available for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Sequels could be on the way with EA CEO Andrew Wilson stating it to be “the first in a new franchise.” Stay tuned for more details and check out our official review in the meantime.
