Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order’s First Tease Released

A broken lightsaber offers some foreshadowing of the tragedy.

This week will be monumental for Star Wars fans, since the Star Wars Celebration is around the corner. Along with offering the first look at Episode IX, we’ll also be seeing Respawn Entertainment’s Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order on April 13th. Electronic Arts has already begun teasing the action adventure title with a short clip of a broken lightsaber on Twitter.

The words “Don’t stand out” point to the main premise of the game. It’s set between Episodes 3 and 4 in the film series with the Jedi facing extinction at the hands of the newly formed Empire, and in the aftermath of Order 66. Story details leaked in December 2018 state that the protagonist is Cal, a Jedi who escaped the purge, with his mentor Cerses. A group of Jedi Hunters known as the Inquisitors will also apparently be involved.

As such, Respawn Entertainment has promised a “few surprises” at the panel for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Time will tell what we can expect – maybe some gameplay? The game itself is out in Holiday 2019, so stay tuned for the official reveal this weekend in the meantime.
