BioWare has announced the the European release date of their upcoming MMORPG, Star Wars: The Old Republic, has been moved forward by 2 days. Meaning that it won’t be releasing on its original announced date of 22nd December. It will now hit the European shelves on December 20, the day when the game releases in the US.
BioWare community manager Stephen Reid announced this during a Star Wars panel at New York ComicCon.
BioWare thinks that The Old Republic has the potential to be “the biggest online launch in history.” That’s a pretty hefty statement? Can they back it up with the final product? Tell us what you think via your comments.
