Star Wars: The Old Republic Video Previews New Dye Modules

To arrive soon with Game Update 2.1.

Bioware’s Star Wars: The Old Republic might’ve freaked out publisher Electronic Arts with its $200 million budget, along with the quick move to free to play. But the game has actually been doing pretty well since the move, seeing a wealth of updates. The next one will see a new Dye Modules update in Game Update 2.1, which allows players to customize and alter the colour of armour.

EA released a short preview video showcasing the same. Obviously, in light of the big deal with Disney to produce Star Wars games, this may not be as huge. But it’s there for fans of the game, who want to lend a bit of uniqueness to their characters.

Star Wars: The Old Republic is currently available for PC. It takes place 3500 years before the events of the movies but a good 300 years after the events of the Knights of the Old Republic series as the Sith and Galactic Republic share an uneasy peace.
