Starfield did not enjoy the sort of widespread critical acclaim that Bethesda Game Studios’ Fallout and The Elder Scrolls games became associated with over the years, but the sci-fi RPG has nonetheless continued to attract players in droves. Recently, in fact, it crossed a new milestone, having surpassed 15 million players to date. That’s up from 14 million players in June.
Bethesda Game Studios made the announcement on Twitter, where it also confirmed that the game’s November update has also gone live. Most notable of the update’s additions are two new Creations being made available for all players to celebrate its latest milestone- a high-performance land vehicle known as the Deimog, and the Perfect Recipe, a Thanksgiving-themed recipe that you can find through a new quest in Akila City. This new quest revolves around a character named Harbhajan, who is described as “a gifted mechanic with a hidden passion for the culinary arts.”
Meanwhile, with this new update, Starfield now also allows for Achievement-friendly Creations as long as they are released through the Verified Creators program, as well as quality-of-life improvements, performance and stability upgrades, and more. Uncapped frame rates have also been added back in for Xbox Series X players.
Starfield is available on Xbox Series X/S and PC.
