State of Decay 2

Undead Labs’ zombie survival game State of Decay 2 didn’t have the smoothest of launches, although the developer was able to turn its tides around for the better with substantial post-launch updates, which significantly overhauled the game’s systems and added new content to the mix. More than 3 years after its original release, the game still isn’t done evolving- as revealed by the devs themselves in a State of Decay 2 livestream, which you can check out below.

Undead Labs has multiple content updates planned for this coming year, which will supposedly change elements of the game such as UI, make Infestations more dangerous, allowing players to set up defensive traps at outposts, and much more. As of this moment, there’s no date for when all of these updates are slated to roll out, but more information is sure to come in the coming months- so stay tuned until then.

The much-anticipated sequel State of Decay 3 is still some ways away, and has made the switch to Unreal Engine 5- read more on that through here
