Steam Players Unable to Access The Division Beta on PC

Ubisoft currently investigating.

Tom Clancy's The Division

It’s been more than an hour since the closed beta for Tom Clancy’s The Division went live but Steam players haven’t been able to get into the game.

Following complaints of the same, Ubisoft issued a statement. “We’ve noticed on the forums that some Steam players are unable to access the beta for Tom Clancy’s The Division. We are actively reaching out to Steam to resolve the issue and will keep you updated as we know more. Thank you for your patience and understanding.”

The issue arose when Steam told players that the game had not released yet even when the beta had reportedly gone live. There seem to be no issues for PS4 players, who are entering the beta for the first time, or Xbox One players who received access yesterday.

What are your thoughts on the issues and will Ubisoft resolve them soon or extend PC beta access? Stay tuned for more information.
