Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town Coming to North America, First Trailer Released

XSEED Games will publish the remake in North America, but no release window is provided.

Harvest Moon - Friends of Mineral Town Switch

Yesterday, Marvelous revealed that it was remaking Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town and More Friends of Mineral Town for the Nintendo Switch. Originally released for the Game Boy Advance, both titles would be collected into a single Story of Seasons game. Now, Marvelous has confirmed that XSEED Games will release Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town for Switch in North America.

A new trailer was also released, showcasing the game’s revamped visuals and gameplay in action. Some details have already been revealed like how characters such as Karen, Rick, Cliff and Popuri would be returning. New characters will also be introduced and players can create either a male or female character.

Development seems to be progressing smoothly – the game is reportedly 85 percent completed. How long it will take to be localized and when it will release is unknown. Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town releases on October 17th for Switch in Japan so stay tuned for more details.
