Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin

Square Enix’s Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin is out next week but before that, it seems a new demo is coming soon for PS4 and PS5. According to PlayStation Game Size on Twitter, the PS5 version of the demo is 35.730 GB. They also confirmed it’s release for PS4 along with the option to transfer save data into the full game.

Given the timing of this discovery, it seems very likely that the demo will be announced and go live during the upcoming State of Play. Sony did confirm that it was focusing on Japanese publishers for its 20 minute showcase so this definitely lines up. Two trials for the Team Ninja-developed action RPG have already been released, albeit for a limited time (read our impressions for the first here).

As for the full game, it launches on March 18th for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC (though pre-orders can get it earlier). Requirements for the PC version, which is exclusive to the Epic Games Store, can be seen here. Stay tuned for more details and an official announcement for the demo soon.
