Street Fighter 5 Champion Edition - Oro

New characters are coming to Street Fighter 5: Champion Edition next week, namely Oro from Street Fighter 3 and Akira Kazama from Rival Schools. Capcom has a new gameplay trailer for the former, showcasing his unpredictable style and abilities. Check it out below.

Oro’s fighting style is described as a mix of old and new. V-Skill 1 is called “Onibi” and provides a bouncing projectile that functions much like his Super Art “Yagyodama” from Street Fighter 3. “Minomushi” is his V-Skill 2 and works like a short hop – use this in mid-air to cancel a normal, avoiding any damage from anti-air moves, and counter-attack accordingly. Perhaps his most defining skill here is “Tengu Stone” which pulls three objects over Oro’s head.

Depending on the properties of these objects, the player can inflict more damage or stun the opponent. It even has a more powerful variant called “Tengu Midare Stone” that can pull in five objects for even more damage. Oro is set to go live on August 16th along with Akira. Both characters will be available with the Season 5 Pass with the final character, Luke, coming in November.
