Street Fighter 5 Champion Edition

Street Fighter 5: Champion Edition received its final DLC character Luke in November 2021 but support hasn’t wrapped up just yet. Capcom has announced a new “definitive” update for the title which goes live on March 29th. It adds two new graphics filters for offline use – Cel-shading and Pixel – along with a new battle balance update.

On top of this, all characters will receive new Tracksuit colors – the trailer below showcases all of the different shades that Ryu can have. CAP-JAMS remixes for Dan’s Theme, Rose’s Theme, Oro’s Theme, Akira’s Theme and Luke’s Theme are also being added. All-in-all, there’s quite a lot to look forward to.

Street Fighter 5: Champion Edition is available for PS4 and PC. It includes the base game with all of its free updates and the majority of costume DLC into one package (the Season 5 Character Pass must be purchased separately though). Check out our review here.

Capcom has recently announced Street Fighter 6, confirming the presence of Luke and Ryu. It hasn’t announced a release date or platforms but will provide more information this Summer.
