Street Fighter 5 Second Beta Begins on October 22nd, Features Cross-Platform Play and New Characters

Ken, Necalli, Vega and R. Mika will be selectable characters.

Capcom has announced that the second global beta for Street Fighter 5 will begin on October 22nd for PS4 with cross platform functionality to be tested on October 24th and 25th. It should be noted that PC players will only gain access on the 24th and 25th.

The beta will also include ranked matchmaking, player search, combined leaderboards and several new characters like Ken, Necalli, Vega and R. Mika. Rashid will be introduced on October 23rd, followed by Karin on October 24th. Previous beta characters like Ryu, Chun-Li, Nash, M. Bison, Cammy and Birdie won’t be available.

You also have the opportunity to unlock stages using Fight Money though any money, titles and leaderboard rankings you own won’t be in the next beta phase or the finished game. If you’re curious about participating in the beta, then head here for more information.
