Capcom’s newest playable character in Street Fighter 6 is live, with Akuma rounding out Year 1’s DLC characters. The master of the Satsui no Hado gets his own Arcade story, customization options and Combo Trials, but that’s not all. Check out the trailers below and see almost everything on offer.

As is tradition with other DLC characters, Akuma is available as a Master in World Tour. Players can become his student, challenge him and learn the Satsui no Hado for their use. You can even take pictures with the surprisingly photogenic legend. On top of all this, a new limited-time Battle Hub event is available where multiple players can collaborate and launch Hadoukens at a giant Akuma.

Akuma’s arrival also includes the game’s third Outfit Pack, balance changes and an option to use classic tracks from older Street Fighter games in stages. Stay tuned for more details on all fighter adjustments shortly.

Street Fighter 6 is available for Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC. Though it hasn’t provided any other details, Capcom has confirmed that Year 2 content is in development.
