Capcom has released a new gameplay video for Street Fighter 6, showcasing a match-up between series veteran Ryu and newcomer Luke. Check it out below, with real-time commentary by Jeremy ‘Vicious’ Mitchell.

The gameplay is a pretty good showcase of the new Drive System. Hitting a Drive Impact, players can break through attacks and stun their opponent, making a comeback. Drive Rush allows for quickly dashing and nailing an opponent, then following up with a combo. Overdrives are essentially EX Moves and allow for stronger versions of Special Moves. It also shows the effects of Burnout, making it easier to stun an opponent when the Drive Gauge is empty.

Overall, it’s a solid match-up between previous and current eras of World Warriors, and it should be interesting to see how players adapt to both styles. Street Fighter 6 releases on June 2nd for Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC. You can check out our official review here for more details.
