Capcom has released a new trailer for Street Fighter 6, showcasing the next DLC character making his way into the game’s roster—Ed. The trailer offers quite a showcase of the different combos and abilities that Ed players can look forward to pulling off. Check it out below.

When it comes to gameplay, Ed seems to have a versatile moveset, ranging from fast-paced punching flurries, medium-ranged attacks, and the ability to dash in and out of close range. Some of Ed’s specials also seem to act like command grapples, allowing him to pull enemies closer together.

The trailer also shows off the new Ruined Lab stage that will be coming to the game. The stage is essentially a callback to Street Fighter 4, being the arena where the Arcade Mode’s main boss, Seth, was fought and defeated.

Ed will be joining the Street Fighter 6 roster on February 27, and will be available as part of the game’s Year 1 Pass. Being the third addition to Street Fighter 6 as a DLC fighter, Ed will be followed by Akuma, who is slated to come to the game in Spring 2024. Street Fighter 6 is available on PC, PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
