Street Fighter 6 - Guile

The open beta for Street Fighter 6 is right around the corner, and in its newest Character Guide video, Capcom focuses on Guile. As another series veteran, Guile has appeared in almost every mainline title while having one of the most iconic stage themes ever.

In Street Fighter 6, he’s about executing a “solid, no-nonsense game plan” in offense and defense. Along with a fast recovery on his projectiles, Guile’s Flash Kick provides a strong anti-air game. He also possesses a long reach, with many attacks propelling him forward. Use Sonic Boom to open enemies up and pressure them before counter-attacking accordingly.

Street Fighter 6 launches on June 2nd for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. The open beta runs from May 19th to 21st, with Guile being one of eight characters available. Players can also try Battle Hub in addition to the Modern and Classic Controls. Stay tuned for more details in the coming days.
